We were approached to develop the branding for ‘Matalan Presents: The Show’, a new and unique, content-led bi-weekly fashion and style show for fashion retailer Matalan. Created and produced by ITN Productions for ITV AdVentures – ITV Commercial’s division. Each six minute long episode is presented by Denise Van Outen who is joined by fashion industry insiders including fashion journalists, UK brands and prominent style bloggers, sharing their expert insight.
A NEW PARTNERSHIP
More so now than ever companies are beginning to realise the importance of effective brand engagement which helps to build a deeper relationship with their customer and how to create that engagement is a key challenge. To achieve this Matalan entered into a content partnership with ITV and Time Inc UK to help underline the pieces on show at its stores during a fashion and style show.
Understanding the requirements of a brand such as Matalan and those of their customers is critical to the success of any creative treatment when helping to deliver a brand content package. As cross-platform communication is now a fundamental necessity for our clients, it’s important for us to understand how those brands exists across the multitude of customer touchpoints. For this project we created a branded package conveying a premium quality, whilst feeling relevant and attainable for their customers and also providing a clear opportunity for Matalan to present its brand and products to their audience in a manner that was clear, informative and ownable.
